Easter Camp

So we are back from a very cold Easter Camp - all the Scouts seemed to enjoy it!! We did a fair few things - wide games, map and compass training, a hike (to practice what we had learned), backwoods cooking, swimming, a mahoosive camp fire, air rifle shooting........ oh and the odd bit of cooking and washing up!!! All meals cooked by the scouts were on an open fire, and we are very pleased to report that most fires were lit with a fire steel or from embers from a previous fire. I think we used less than 10 matches all camp, and not a single piece of paper was used to get the fires lit. Very commendable effort.

There are a few pictures for you to look at in the Photos section.
