The Annual District St George's Day Parade takes place on Sunday 22nd April. To confirm times for Sunday - we will meet at HQ at 1:30pm for a prompt 1:45pm departure. We will be marching as a Group behind the band via Kent Way, Tolworth Road, Thornhill Avenue, Thornhill Road, Ellerton Road, Ewell Road and Hollyfield Road en-route to the main assembly point at The Adult Education Centre, Hollyfield Road arriving at 2.05pm. We will then march with the whole district along the Ewell Road to the service at The Church of Our Lady Immaculate and in The Church Hall, Ewell Road, Tolworth, commencing at 3.00pm. At the end of the service we will march back as a district to Hollyfield Road where the parade will be dismissed, then we will reassemble as a Group and march back to HQ. FYI - we will be the last Group in the district on Parade.

You are welcome to walk with us from HQ and from the assembly point to the church and back, and afterwards to stay for refreshments and the presentation of the Group awards at HQ.

Please remember FULL scout Uniform including shoes is required (and there are a few scarves which could do with a quick iron). You are reminded that we are very much in the public eye so please ensure that we can be proud of the turn out - there is a prize for the best presented Group.  Anyone not in correct uniform will not be allowed to participate in the Parade. Outer garments should only be worn with the approval of the Parade Organiser and Marshall. Please make sure you have your thermals underneath should the weather not be kind to us. If it is raining please bring a waterproof. We will make arrangements to look after these garments should they not be needed for the parade.

Any questions please ask.
